Who We Are

The Scarlett Lillian Pauley Foundation was established in loving memory of our beautiful daughter Scarlett who passed in her sleep on January 8th, 2017. Scarlett’s passing is considered Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), which is a category of death in children between the ages of 1 and 18 that remains unexplained after a thorough investigation, including an autopsy. Scarlett’s family created this foundation to promote awareness of and raise funds to support research into the medical mystery that took her life and support other bereaved families going through the horrible tragedy of child loss.
